What is liquid metal?

Liquid Metal is a decorative metal coating process that can be applied to almost any surface by cold spraying and/or brushing. The principle of covering the surface with metal brings a new concept to your products and different approaches to decoration, bringing a dimension to your creativity.

It will form a monolith with excellent adhesion to almost any surface, including but not limited to foam, plastic, drywall, wood, metal, fiberglass, plaster, ceramic, concrete, terra cotta, carbon and even paper.

After application, the product will have all the properties of the cast metal part including texture, shine and thermal conductivity. The fact that it is very easy to create motifs, textures or patinas during application will also reveal the opportunity to test your creativity. After drying, the surface will be polishable with sandpaper or wool wire, as in metal processing.

Liquid metal is a hard metal coating and contains up to 95% metal powder. As a result of the mixture of metal powder and binder, a cold liquid metal (composite metal) is formed and is not easily scratched and is not affected by the fading effect of UV (ultraviolet) rays. However, just like metal, it will form a living tissue in the visual due to its oxidation over time.

Liquid metal is produced on the basis of water-based and polymer-based. What makes the liquid metal so strong is that the metal and polymer binder are combined during the chemical reaction. This new formation makes the composition more durable than the sum of its parts.

As a result, durable metallized surfaces that will capture any design or detail become suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
